The WorldTracker SMS is not your everyday’s receiver (at a price of around $600). Like the WorldTracker Data Logger it requires some basic knowledge of the GPS technology. In addition you should be comfortable sending and receiving SMS, identifying phone numbers, and doing basic GSM setup.

Verizon has introduced the VZ Navigator service. The service is currently available for the Motorola V323 cell phone which was introduced a couple of days earlier along with this new service from Verizon Wireless.
VZ Navigator is perfect for road warriors who are constantly on-the-go, allowing them to see a map of their current location or an address in the U.S., locate places such as restaurants, gas stations, banks and other points-of-interest relative to their location, plus hear turn-by-turn navigation with audible voice directions to an address in the U.S.
VZ Navigator rates are 9.99$ per month (unlimited usage) or 2.99 per 24hours.
